Hi I'm Sarah, a yoga teacher and women’s wellness coach.
My own path into yoga started when I was pregnant with my son Joseph back in 1999. It wasn't until 2014 after a big life shake up that I decided to train as a yoga teacher while on my own wellbeing journey. It seemed like a natural progression to continue my training into pregnancy and postnatal yoga too. I have become particularly passionate about women's health and wellbeing and supporting and empowering women through the big life fazes from pregnancy, postnatal recovery and through menopause.
I am the creator of Balanced Mamas Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga , The Balanced Birth Hub and the host of The Balanced Birth Podcast. I am a certified core and pelvic floor rehab coach, birth trauma coach, and postnatal transition coach.
Alongside my pre and postnatal offerings I also run Meno Balance specialised yoga and wellbeing, classes, programmes and workshops for midlife women.
I teach weekly general yoga classes blending different elements into the schedule from the movement of flow yoga classes to the slower and more meditative styles of yin and restorative yoga. My aim is create a safe and nurturing space for all women.

Hi I am Anna - the calm presence working behind the scenes to keep life and business running smoothly. I offer admin and lifestyle support to women who are juggling demanding businesses, busy households, and everything in between. Whether it’s managing your inbox, booking the kids’ activities, planning travel, or gently reminding you to prioritise you—I’m here to lighten the mental load and bring a little more ease to your every day.
With a background in frontline social work and years of experience as a Business and Lifestyle Assistant, I specialise in working with women who are often stretched too thin. I’ve supported founders, high-net-worth individuals, and those working in Neuro Rehab, and I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergence and women’s mental health.
If my brand had a personality, it would be that ultra-organised best friend who always has everything under control—without ever making you feel bad for needing help. I bring a warm, unflappable energy and always seem to have the solution before you even realise there’s a problem. My job is to restore calm, create space, and help you feel like someone finally gets it.
Over the years, I’ve helped launch multiple businesses, co-founded a community for women in business, and been honoured as a finalist in several industry awards. But more than anything, I love being the steady support behind the scenes—bringing clarity, structure and balance to the women I work with.
Being part of this yoga community is such a joy. It aligns so deeply with what I stand for: slowing down, tuning in, and finding ways to feel more supported and less alone.
Let’s just say, if your life feels like it’s one big never-ending to-do list—I’m the person who’ll help you breathe again.

Alongside the main studio timetable with Sarah, The Balanced Space is also home to some other wonderful teachers who run their own private classes here - adding even more choice to your yoga community.
Jo has many years experience as both a yoga and pilates teacher.
Jo teaches her private Hatha Yoga class in the studio on Wednesdays at 6:30pm
You can often find Jo and Sarah working together on retreats and events
Gabi is our monthly guest, vibrational healer specialising in deep relaxation techniques with reiki infused frequencies. Gabi hosts her magical soundscapes on the second Sunday of each month
Gill is a 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher and teaches her private classes within the studio on Mondays at 10:30am and Tuesdays at 5:30pm.

Liz is a 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and Children's Yoga Teacher.
